Introducing Amal Journal: Your Daily Companion for Deeds That Matter

Dr Md shahriar kabir 5 min read

Track your prayers, memorize the Quran, count your dhikr, and reflect on your duas — all in one quiet, respectful place.

Why we built this

Somewhere in the shuffle of daily life — between the alarm clock and the deadlines, the family obligations and the endless scroll — the small acts of worship that anchor a Muslim’s day can slip through unnoticed.

Not because we don’t care. But because we’re human.

And there simply wasn’t a tool we loved using. Every existing tracker felt either too corporate, too noisy, or too clinical for something as personal as your relationship with your Creator.

So we built Amal Journal — a place to gently keep track of what matters, without turning your worship into a KPI.

—

What Amal Journal is

Amal Journal is a daily Islamic deeds tracker, built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works on any phone or computer. No app store. No account required to start. No ads. Ever.

It’s designed around a simple idea: the small deeds, done consistently, are the ones that shape a life.

📊 Stats that encourage, not shame

Your streak. Your completion rate. Your month at a glance.

No leaderboards. No rankings. No public comparison. Just you and your progress — the way it should be.

🌙 Ramadan & Hijri calendar awareness

The app knows when it’s Ramadan, Ashura, Arafah, or the white days. It suggests the right deeds at the right time. It celebrates with you, and quietly steps aside when you need rest.

📿 Sadaqah tracking

Log your charitable giving with amount, currency, recipient, and category. See your yearly total grow. A small reminder that your wealth is a trust — and a beautiful way to see how you’ve honored it.

—

What we’re careful about

Your privacy. No account is required. No data leaves your browser unless you choose to sync. No tracking. No analytics. No third-party ads. Your journal is yours.

Your attention. No infinite scroll. No notifications begging for engagement. No gamification that turns worship into a competition. This is a tool that respects you.

Islamic correctness. Every verse, translation, and attribution has been reviewed. Where a hadith is cited, the source is named. Where scholars differ, we don’t pretend to settle the question.

A final word

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.”

— Sahih al-Bukhari

We didn’t build Amal Journal to add to your to-do list. We built it to remove the friction from the things you already want to do — so that on the Day when every deed is weighed, you’ll find a long, steady record of small, quiet, consistent worship.

May Allah accept from you and from us. 🤲

Amal Journal is free, private, and ad-free. Built with love by Goppo, for the ummah.
