In Ruqyah Shari’ah and spiritual protection, Surah Al-Furqan (25:23) holds immense value, particularly in combating dark spiritual forces:
1. Neutralizing and Destroying Black Magic (Sihr)
- Spiritual Principle: Just as Allah can render worldly deeds into scattered, useless dust, His power can instantly dismantle, neutralize, and scatter the elaborate illusions, knots, and energies created by practitioners of black magic.
- Ruqyah Application: Practitioners frequently recite this verse during Ruqyah sessions targeting stubborn or recurrent magic. It is used with the intention (Niyyah) that Allah completely obliterates the effects, contracts, and illusions of Sihr, reducing them to nothingness.
2. Undoing Malicious Plots and Envious Schemes (Hasad)
- Spiritual Principle: When people conspire or use harmful spiritual means (envy, malice, secret plots) against an innocent person, Allah has the power to target those very efforts and scatter them into useless dust.
- Ruqyah Application: Recited as a protective supplication when facing intense hostility, sabotage, or workplace toxicity, asking Allah to render the plots of oppressors completely ineffective and harmless.
🤲 Dua / Ruqyah
Classical Quranic commentators explain the deep context and warning within this verse:
1. The Annulment of Deeds Done Without Faith or Sincerity
Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Imam Ibn Kathir explains that on the Day of Judgment, Allah will examine the deeds performed by those who disbelieved or rejected His guidance. Despite any apparent good they did in worldly life, because it was not built upon the foundation of Tawheed (belief in Allah) and sincerity, Allah will render all of it completely weightless and void—turning it into scattered dust (Haba'an Manthura), which floats in the air and vanishes when touched by sunlight.
Tafsir Al-Tabari: Imam Al-Tabari notes that "Wa qadimnaa" means "We will turn our attention to..." or "We will proceed toward..." evaluating every action to separate what was done for Allah from what was done for other motives.
