📖 Hadith Reference
While Surah Al-Kafirun is fundamentally a declaration of pure monotheism (Tawheed) and the separation of faith from polytheism (Shirk), the Prophet (ﷺ) specifically prescribed its recitation for spiritual protection and peace of mind.
- Protection from Shirk (Association with Others)
Hadith: Harithah bin Naufal (RA) reported that he asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "Teach me something to say before I sleep." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied:"Recite 'Qul ya ayyuhal-kaafirun' and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a clearance from Shirk (polytheism)."
