Shielding Against Plots and Harm: Reciting verse 45 (“Fawaqaahul-laahu sayyi’aati maa makaroo”) is a powerful Quranic supplication used in Ruqyah and daily protection to ask Allah to shield you from the hidden or open plots of enemies, toxic environments, or malicious intentions.
Ultimate Peace During Vulnerability: When a person feels helpless against severe illness, institutional injustice, or overwhelming anxiety, repeating “Wa ufawwidu amree ilal-laah” brings immense tranquility, reminding the heart that the All-Seeing (Al-Baseer) is managing everything.

Classical mufassireen explain the profound context and power of these verses:
- The Statement of the Believer of Pharaoh's Family
Tafsir Ibn Kathir: These verses recount the words of the righteous believer from Pharaoh's family who defended Prophet Musa (Moses). When Pharaoh and his chiefs plotted to kill him, he declared absolute reliance (Tawakkul) on Allah by saying, "And I entrust my affair to Allah."
The Divine Outcome: Imam Ibn Kathir points out the immediate result described in verse 45: Because of his sincere trust and surrender to Allah, "So Allah protected him from the evils of what they plotted"—saving him both from Pharaoh's immediate tyranny and the ultimate punishment of the Fire.
- The Power of Tafwid (Surrendering to Allah)
Tafsir Al-Qurtubi: Scholars highlight the phrase "Wa ufawwidu amree ilal-laah" (And I entrust my affair to Allah) as one of the greatest formulas of protection and reliance. When a servant hands their entire situation over to Allah—whether facing oppression, severe illness, or danger—Allah takes charge of their protection, exactly as He protected the believer from Pharaoh's plots.
