English Transliteration

Rabbanaa akhrijnaa minhaa fa-in ‘udnaa fa-innaa zaalimoon.

English Translation (Saheeh International)

“Our Lord, bring us out from it, and if we should return [to evil], then we will indeed be wrongdoers.”

Bengali Translation (বাংলা অনুবাদ)

(১০৭) «হে আমাদের রব! এ থেকে আমাদেরকে বের করে দিন, অতঃপর আমরা যদি পুনরায় তদ্রূপ করি, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা জালেম হব।»

In Ruqyah Shari’ah (Quranic healing), Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:107) holds a direct and powerful application, particularly in dealing with stubborn spiritual afflictions:

1. Expelling Intrusive Jinn and Demonic Spirits

  • Spiritual Principle: The core phrase “Rabbanaa akhrijnaa minhaa” (Our Lord, bring us out from it) is a direct plea for extraction and deliverance from a place of intense burning and suffering.
  • Ruqyah Application: Practitioners frequently recite this verse during Ruqyah sessions targeting possessed individuals or cases of intrusive demonic influences (Jinn). The verse is recited to command and force evil spirits to leave the human body, emphasizing their eviction and burning if they refuse to vacate.

2. Breaking Severe Traps, Addiction, and Darkness

  • Spiritual Principle: The verse embodies a desperate call for liberation from a state of total confinement and ruin.
  • Ruqyah Application: Recited by individuals seeking spiritual deliverance from severe habitual sins, oppressive addiction, toxic entrapments, or lingering spiritual shadows, asking Allah for complete extraction (Ikhraj) into safety, purity, and light.

Classical Quranic commentators explain the profound context and gravity of this verse:

1. The Cry of the Inmates of Hellfire

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Imam Ibn Kathir explains that this verse describes the agonizing plea of the dwellers of the Hellfire (Jahannam). After suffering immense torment, they cry out to Allah in utter desperation, pleading for a second chance—asking Him to remove them from Hellfire and return them to the worldly life, promising that if they ever return to sin, disbelief, or injustice, they will accept being true wrongdoers (Zalimoon).

Tafsir At-Tabari: Imam Al-Tabari notes that this plea is met with a stern divine response in the following verse (108: "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me"), highlighting the absolute reality that worldly life is the only place for repentance, while the Hereafter is the place of final judgment and accounting.
